The concept of design is "agriculture".
A rustic dimension with a sense of modern warmth, and the concept of "agriculture". The main store of Wanoca, designed by architect Shinsuke Kai, is located at the corner of one of the biggest samurai residence in Japan, on a hill in Makioka, where retains much of Japanese natural scenery.
Renovated from a 200-year-old samurai residence, "Onkochishin"(study the old to understand the new)
You can find people's handiwork, using traditional materials and techniques to create new works, here and there in the store. The dynamic floor plan leading to the backyard, and the interior design that boldly makes use of the soil. From Yamanashi, to the world. Please enjoy the new breath of sweets here.
